HOOK PLACEMENT FOR SUSPENSIONS
With a Specific Focus on Knee Suspensions
Suggested Donation of $15 - $20 (not required)
OSC PRACTITIONERS
(for Practitioners only)
This workshop is open to all practitioners.
At the start of the next Suspension Sunday event, we will facilitate a hands-on workshop for all OSC practitioners on Hook Placement with a special focus on knee suspensions.
Understanding proper hook placement is an indispensable skill for all suspension practitioners to have — it is a critical factor with regard to the viability of a suspension and the suspendee’s comfort. Certain suspension positions and certain areas of the body require greater consideration when it comes to hook placement — such as knees. This workshop will provide OSC members with a greater understanding of the considerations practitioners need to be taking in order to prevent unintended consequences of poor hook placement — discomfort, tissue damage and potentially signficant injury to suspendees.
Following on the Blood Borne Pathogens workshop that was facilitated by Jason back in the spring of 2024 — this Hook Placement workshop is the next in a series of presentations that the OSC will continue to run three - four times a year to help improve practitioner skill development amongst OSC members.
OSC Members are encouraged to attend this important workshop even if they can’t attend the Suspension Sunday event, which runs afterward from 1 PM to 8 PM.
